Many refer to this great cut of meat as "prime rib". The actual cut name is "rib roast" and it comes in many different quality grades. Main Street Meat only handles the top 3 grades; Choice, Premium Choice(Reserve), and Prime, with Prime being the highest grade quality. Additionally, we age all of our beef cuts a minimum of 21 days. This helps to further tenderize the loin and enhance flavor. All roasts are cut from fresh loins and lightly trimmed. We offer our very own "famous prime rib seasoning", which goes well on all beef cuts. All Bone-in rib roasts will have the bones cut away, then tied to the meat for convenience and table presentation. Each bone of meat weighs 2-2.5 lbs, for those that calculate how many bones they need. Minimum order of any roast, is 4 servings (~3 lbs.) otherwise, it should be called a steak, in our opinion!
Ordering Instructions: Our ordering site is set-up conveniently for your to select the number of servings you need. We base our servings as 3/4 lb raw meat. The approximate roast weight is also displayed for your convenience. You are required to make selections for Roast type, size, and if you would like to add our "famous Prime Rib seasoning". Don't miss that, it is a local favorite!
For an even more enhanced flavor and dinning experience, we offer dry-aging of roasts and steaks. Our dry age chambers are set at the perfect temperature and humidity to let the meat naturally age like it was done many years ago. Meats aged this way have a whole new flavor profile that is esquisite! You will find our dry-aged rib roasts under a separate product on the site.
